War and peace

Peace is a state of tranquility, harmony and peaceful coexistence between individuals and nations, thus promoting collective well-being. However, threats persist and hover over our heads. The symbolism expressed in this work of art is the perfect illustration of this. Man has always used the hand to represent the sacred: it expresses spirituality in the gesture of prayer, but it is interesting to note that this religious hand, the one that prays, that blesses... has almost disappeared from our Western world. However, we will note that the woman's hand is more likened to gentleness.
And yet in all religions we find these hands raised towards the sky in fervent imploration.
This does not prevent us from witnessing the threat which settles above us and which is ready as is the head of the saber-toothed tiger hovering above this hand.
In conclusion, I would say that we don't have to believe in eternal peace, it's fair game!!!

Let's not forget that my choices have a meaning regarding amethyst for its soothing properties. It is traditionally used to bring calm, psychological balance and serenity when diamonds, in their rarity and beauty, are a symbol of purity and innocence, love and fidelity, and encompass strength of character, ethics and loyalty to oneself and others.
Hopefully these stones will take over our worries.
